(PubliWeb) Ancora una canzone (la settima!) estratta da "Loud" e, con buona probabilità, ancora una hit di successo per Rihanna. Il brano in questione si intitola "Cheers (Drink To That)" e, come potrete notare ascoltandolo, contiene alcune porzioni riprese da "I'm with You" di Avril Lavigne del 2002. "Cheers (Drink To That)" è stata scritta da Andrew Harr, Jermaine Jackson, Stacey Barthe, Laura Pergolizzi, Corey Gibson, Chris Ivery, Lauren Christy, Graham Edwards, Avril Lavigne e Scott Spock e prodotta dal duo hip hop The Runners. Rihanna ha sempre mostrato grande ammirazione per la Lavigne, infatti ha spiegato: "Sono contenta di avere potuto usare il sample di Avril, perché ricopre un ruolo importantissimo nella parte strumentale del brano, e se non fosse stato inserito nella canzone, questa avrebbe avuto un sound completamente diverso". Il video ufficiale della nuova canzone è stato montato utilizzando, tra le altre, le sequenze del concerto del 5 agosto 2011 a Kensington Oval, presso Bridgetown, nell'isola di Barbados. Rihanna è protagonista principale della clip e viene ripresa in svariati momenti: durante il concerto, insieme ai suoi amici, accanto ai suoi fans, in piscina, durante il backstage e in diversi altri ambienti. Come potrete notare cliccando sul link che conduce alla visione del video di "Cheers (Drink To That)", nella clip appaiono anche Avril Lavigne, Jay-Z, Kanye West e Cee Lo Green.
