Dopo un paio di anni di silenzio The Rasmus sono tornati con un disco tutto nuovo. Si intitola "Black Roses", è il settimo della loro carriera ed è una vera miniera di brani dalle sonorità tipicamente rock, quindi un po' lontano dallo stile a cui The Rasmus ci hanno abituato. Il singolo che la band finlandese ha scelto per lanciare il proprio CD si intitola "Livin' In A World Without You". Ascoltando la canzone si nota una notevole differenza rispetto, ad esempio, a "In THe Shadow" il brano che, qualche anno fa, ha portato The Rasmus a divenire celebri in tutto il mondo. Non c'è più quasi nulla di gotico nella loro musica ma, tutto sommato, "Livin' In A World Without You" è una canzone orecchiabile.
