Robert Plant presenta un disco tutto nuovo che si intitola "Band of Joy". Il singolo scelto per il lancio dell'album è "Angel Dance", un brano che, come qualcuno potrà notare, è una cover, in questo caso solo molto più ritmata, dei Los Lobos. "Band of Joy" è un disco che Plant ha realizzato da solista con la co-produzione dell'amico chitarrista Buddy Miller. Il titolo dell'album ha radici lontane nel tempo, infatti "Band of Joy" era il nome del gruppo di cui un giovanissimo Robert Plant faceva parte negli anni '60 e che proponeva musica soul e blues. Oltre a Plant e a Miller, la Band of Joy è formata anche da Darrell Scott, da Patty Griffin, dal bassista Byron House e dal percussionista Marco Giovino.
