Mika torna con un nuovo brano ed un nuovo disco. Entrambi si intitolano "We are golden". Del brano vi proponiamo il video e il testo, per il disco è necessario attendere il 18 settembre 2009. L'artista partito dal Web si propone con il suo stile grintoso e brillante, voce in falsetto e ritmo trascinante. Il suo primo disco ha letteralmente sbancato e, come spesso accade per gli artisti di talento, la seconda prova diventa molto più importante perché tutti si aspettano di più. Il video di "We are golden" è diretto da Jonas Akerlund e mostra un Mika come, forse, non lo avevamo mai visto: sfrenato ballerino in mutande!
