Il titolo del nuovo singolo di Mary J. Blige sembra un po' criptico ma, in realtà, è una sorta di speranza: vivere accanto ad un uomo meraviglioso 25/8, vale a dire 25 ore su 8 giorni. Mary J. Blige, evidentemente, sogna un amore sublime e totalizzante, un amore che sappia riempire più tempo di quanto chiunque possa oggettivamente vivere. Un'idea romantica, senza dubbio. Proprio come la sua canzone, "25/8". Il brano è prodotto da Eric Hudson e fa parte del nuovo album della bravissima cantante americana intitolato "My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act 1)", disponibile a partire dal 21 novembre 2011. La clip ufficiale di "25/8", ad essere sinceri, non propone immagini o idee particolarmente originali. Ma forse per avere soddisfazione, può bastare la meravigliosa voce di una delle regine dell'R'n'B.
